Melting point (2023)
The sculpture symbolises a melting stone in comic style. Is it honey, cheese, ice or ultimately the stone itself that is threatening to melt? The soft, flowing forms invite the visitor to touch the stone and even to possess it.

Caorle cumulo (2023)
This work aims to transform the rock into a stratification of clouds, giving a sense of lightness and transience to the hard and ancient material. The sculpture gives the impression of forming in layers, representing the clouds that form over the Adriatic Sea.

La calla (2023)
The calla lily is an elegant and delicate subject, a symbol of purity, strength and femininity. When we speak of strength we immediately think of impetus and vehemence. In reality, strength is not to be understood only as a physical characteristic but also as a moral virtue. In fact, strength is also tenacity, perseverance, courage and steadfastness.

Contemporary artists
The award’s aim is to add value to the city of Caorle and particularly, enrich the cligg that divides the Adriatic see on one side, and the historic center on the other. The artists were selected amongst tohusands, thanks to an international scouting.

The new catalogue of ScoglieraViva is online, presenting all the Symposium’s editions, from its foundation to the last rock.
PAST EDITIONS
since 1993
The event, up to its XIX edition, aims to enrich Caorle’s heritage, transforming the cliff in an open-air contemporary art gallery, whose changes will be given by time and natural agents.
CAORLE – The Small Venice
Historic city on the sea, Caorle is a City to discover: not only beach and sea but also history, art, fishing, traditions, nature and food and wine. It offers 18km of golden beaches from Porto Santa Margherita, to Lido Altanea, Duna Verde and Vallevecchia in Brussa.
